Tommy Q – Born Tomás Quiroz from Pasadena, California, has been performing as a singer since age 4 and a trained ballet dancer since age 2.
Growing up in Southern California he was exposed to a wide range of musical genres from listening to KROQ, to Hotel Cafe regulars – Jim Bianco, Meiko, Gary Jules and Chris Pierce to classical music concerts at the Old Mill in San Marino.
His passion for performing led him to the productions in the Silverlake theater scene, to become a singer in a Beatles cover band and other school musical productions.

In the fall of 2013, Tomás attended a Jim Bianco concert that inspired him so much that by the following spring he was performing his original songs as part of his band Congruent in front of South Pasadena Middle School
In high school, his music took a back seat to his academics, athletics, and ballet. Fortunately, his hard work paid off with a spot on the Washington University in St. Louis Football Team and a scholarship to their Arts & Science school to study Economics and Dance.

It was on the WashU campus that music and songwriting came back into his life. He picked up his guitar and started creating melodies and hooks. Soon after, he was finishing song after song.
In the summer of 2020, he found himself in the studio with Kin Isamov and Michael Campagna recording Tommy Q’s first three singles, Chains, Ain’t No Law and Signaling.
He recently released a compilation of acoustic demo songs A Thing for Rockstars – Demo with a fully produced album of the same name to follow.

Now at Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management in Nashville you can find him playing small venues and during the day playing pickup soccer games around town.

New album available on June 20th.
An acoustic demo album with a blend of acoustic and electric guitar, with an alt-rock vibe featuring “Cut Me Down,” as well as “Sweet Addiction” and “Dismiss.” Songs that have hooks that are sticky and stay with you all day!
